Understanding your needs before we begin

We start with the details

Interview preparation starts with understanding what is in your asylum application. We review your written statement, dates, and the documents covered by the agreement. Then we practice listening to questions and answering truthfully in your own words. We do not ask you to memorize answers or guess details you cannot remember.

Who is this service for?

This service is for people who have filed an asylum application and want to prepare for their USCIS interview. If you need a new application, an amendment, or an attorney to attend the interview, we explain the appropriate service and agreement before starting.

How does preparation differ from representation?

Preparation means reviewing documents and practicing before an interview or hearing. Representation means the attorney performs the legal work specified in the agreement, such as preparing applications or attending specified hearings. Booking preparation alone does not include that work.

What does the service include?

Careful document review01

Reviewing the application and your written statement

We review the documents identified before work begins and explain which information needs review or clarification.

Organizing events and dates02

Reviewing dates and events

We review the sequence of events and dates in the file. If information appears inaccurate, we discuss the appropriate way to address it.

Practicing interview questions03

Practicing interview questions

We conduct practice similar to an interview to help you understand questions and answer truthfully. We cannot know the actual questions in advance.

Before starting, we confirm that the service is appropriate and that the office can provide it without a conflict with another client's interests. The agreement then sets out the work and fees.

Questions Before Getting Started

What documents are needed?

After reviewing your inquiry, we identify the required parts of the filed application, the written statement submitted with it, supporting evidence, and interview notice. Please wait until the office explains how to share documents before sending them.

What does the review cover?

The work covers the documents and issues specified in the agreement. The file scope, advance review, and any agreed follow-up must be confirmed before choosing the number of sessions.

How long is a session?

We explain the session length and the documents we will review before you sign the agreement and pay.

Does attorney Fady Eskandar personally conduct the session?

Yes. Attorney Fady Eskandar personally reviews the file, prepares for the session, and conducts it.

What if another legal issue comes up?

We explain that the issue needs evaluation and determine whether additional work requires a separate agreement and fees. Booking preparation does not automatically include amendments or application filings.

Does the service include attending the interview?

No, unless attendance is included in a written agreement. Preparation alone does not mean the office has accepted full representation before the agency or court handling the case.
